Having trouble with email?
Many factors can impact your ability to send and receive mail via Octavient's hosted mail system.
Some of these factors are under Octavient's control. Some are not.
Troubleshooting steps:

Check your connection to the internet: http://www.cnn.com

Double-check your mail program settings (see support docs at right).

If you're behind a router or firewall, check with your system administrator to make sure that routing rules don't prohibit the relevant inbound or outbound ports.

If you're on a corporate LAN, check to make sure DNS is properly forwarding lookups for your domain name. Can you see your web site (with the same domain name)? If not, the issue could be a DNS issue--try to ping your web site--it should return 72.32.50.137.

If the problem is with sending mail, consult your Internet Service Provider (ISP)--many ISPs limit outbound mail traffic (as they investigate ways to limit SPAM).
